On Friday June 14, President Willie Flowers joined Baltimore's Big Bad Morning Show (105.7 FM) for First Responder Friday to talk about the Howard County police officers' Charitable Golf tournament on August 26. President Flowers was joined by representatives from Howard County Police Department including Chris Davis, Terrence Benn, and James Capone. Listen to the 12 minute interview here.

First-ever Howard County Police Officers’ Charitable Golf Tournament Benefitting Youth Initiatives

Three unions representing the officers of the Howard County Police Department (HCPD) in collaboration with the Howard County, Maryland Chapter of the NAACP will host its first charity golf event tournament:  August 26, 2019 at Turf Valley Golf Resort and Country Club in Ellicott City.

The event affirms the cooperative relationship between the NAACP and the police officers in Howard County. Proceeds will benefit the Howard County Police Foundation and the NAACP Chapter’s youth initiatives.
