Fifty-six years ago on July 2, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed which stated that discrimination for any reason on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin was illegal in the United States. With the deadly pandemic, and recent events of police brutality and violence against all Black people, it is evident that discrimination and systemic racism is still rampant in this country. The Howard County NAACP continues to fight against these inequalities killing the Black community, but we need your help.
The Howard County NAACP is launching the #WeAreDoneDying Fundraiser in order to raise donations that will help us deliver on the following priorities:
