    The Howard County Branch of the NAACP  ACT-SO Program is hosting a Local ACT-SO Competition on April 21.

    We are looking for 9th through 12th grade students to compete in 4 categories: STEM, Humanities, Performing Arts, and Visual Arts.

    The Howard County Branch of the NAACP #7020 will host its first housing symposium, intended to provide an overview of the overall state of housing in the County. Topics addressed will include, and not limited to: affordable housing, senior housing, Downtown Columbia Housing, Village Center development, the County's overall housing plan/strategy, homelessness, and housing discrimination. Hear from housing advocates, practitioners, and members of our community.
